The front office of the Phila. Eagles has been displaying an unprecedented player strategy that would fall under the literary category of non-sequitur. If I were to couch their actions into words, they would read something like this:
“Super Bowl, here we come! Deshawn, Shady, Jeremy and Nick, see ya’ later.”
Coach Kelly is playing all his Chip (ugh) to reach the NFL’s Nirvana by letting go of a parade of franchise-capable players.
In the Bible passage we’ll be studying together this Sunday, we will learn of a wholly other circumstance of non-sequitur: that in order to live a Christian life of resurrection power, we must suffer. Wow! That sounds inviting. But this subject may be just what you need to hear to take your Christianity to the next level.
