Why so? For the obvious reason that between her natural God-given figure coupled with her disciplined diet and exercise program, Bo looked pretty good. But let me pose the relevant question: “Who determined that Bo D’s measurements, whatever they were, showed off the perfect figure?” The movie Producer, Blake Edwards? Some organized beauty contest? Some random popularity poll?
Now let’s say that back then, she had put on a half inch around her hips; too much celebrating after the movie’s success. Would she have lost her Perfect 10 rating? But even more realistically, Bo’s now age 58. I dare say that consensus opinion may now regard her as an “Imperfect 9”. But whether we’re considering Bo at age 20 when she made the film or today at age 58, her beauty is not static; it’s ever-changing. So where am I going with all this? Right here: Perfection is clearly non-absolute. A perfect figure imperfectly fluctuates.
