When I was a kid, one of those many Christian clichés often rang out at Bible studies and spiritual dialogues: “God said it. I believe it. That settles it.”
Well, this rather bold assertion lives or dies on whether or not the source of God’s Voice is reliable. Our church banks on the presumption that the Bible serves this purpose. Therefore, the cliché could just as easily be couched in this manner, “The Bible says it. I believe it. That settles it.”
Last week we began to give credible argument to why we can feel so confident in this conviction. This week we will continue our probe into the question that should concern us all: “Can We Trust the Bible?” Why not come out this Sunday to satisfy your concern?
