Sermon Synopsis for Sunday, June 13th: “It’s Not Complicated – Part 1”

I must have really enjoyed Kindergarten as I spent three of my best years in it. Just kidding. But what I sincerely did enjoy about my first year in school was that it wasn’t complicated. Everything was elemental and unambiguous. Boy, did this all change in a hurry come first grade and ever more so with each successive year!

Something else that has become ever more complicated is our Christian obligation for how God wants us to “love one another” and “our neighbor as ourselves.” Even as Christians, we’ve done an amazing job at muddying the simple stream of love and making it unnecessarily complex.

Why not turn-out or tune-in this Sunday morning to be refreshed with getting back to the basic of Christlike love? I think you’ll see, “It’s not complicated.”
