Sermon Synopsis for Sunday, October 6th: “Because of Our Faith”

We all understand the whole Cause-Effect relationship, that if something happens, it precipitates something else happening as a direct consequence. For example, if I stepped off a moving train cruising along at 55 mph, I would immediately begin to slow down at an ever-decreasing rate of speed – especially if I smack into a telephone pole. We get this.

The same holds true regarding our faith. If we yield our lives over to Jesus by trusting in His death and resurrection, then certain consequences are sure to unfold. Here’s just a sampling few: the forgiveness of sins, the indwelling ministry of the Holy Spirit, the ability to resist temptation, and an eternity spent in Heaven.

Please come this Sunday to hear about three additional, but lesser-known, consequences that issue from our faith in a sermon I’ve entitled, “Because of Our Faith.”
