Even our regular attenders don’t know our church’s official dress code. This is because we don’t have one. Our church by-laws remain completely silent on this subject. So, we wear nothing then. Kidding. What we mean by our purposeful omission is that we make no demands on what anyone should wear – taking into consideration, of course, social decency. We advertise our worship gatherings as “contemporary-styled,”which presupposes people may wear informal attire.
We believe there are 2 reasons behind this: #1, we don’t want visitors to feel out of place because of what they’re wearing; and #2, we do want everyone in our midst to realize what really counts in life is not what we wear, but who we are.
