Has anyone ever said of you, “You’re one of kind “?
Probably. My dad used to say of me, “My boy’s one in a million!” But then he’d add, “With those odds, how’d I ever get stuck with him?”
This coming Sunday we’ll be beginning a new sermon series, a series I’ve entitled, “The Great Questions of the Bible”. Perhaps there’s no place better to begin than with the overarching question the entire nation of Israel once triumphantly sang, following its matchless rescue after four centuries in Egyptian captivity: “Who among the gods is like You, O Lord?”
Please come and join us this Sunday as we kick off this new sermon series by reminding ourselves that our God is infinitely better than one in a million; He’s in a class all His own.
