As we are moving into the Independence Day holiday, we should be thinking about some of the freedoms that we have. Paul has mentioned the freedoms that we have in Christ in his letter to the Corinthians. This Sunday, I will be speaking on our freedom from sin. We are not sinless, but we can live our lives knowing that Jesus “paid it all” and we no longer need to live like we used to.
Scripture of the Week – 2 Timothy 1:13 – “Retain the standard of sound words which you have heard from me, in the faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.”
