Sadly, even in churches, personal agendas create schisms. Favoritism breeds disputes. Gossip splinters relationships. The church is supposed to be the one place where people come out of the arid desert of the world and enter a refreshing oasis.
Why do churches have internal unholy wars? Simple answer: because they’re made up of people like you and me. It’s wrapped up in our nature to criticize, ostracize, scandalize and polarize.
