Sermon Synopsis for Sunday, June 7th: “Before And After” (Part 1)

I love “Before and After” photos. We’ve all seen advertisements for some weight-loss program. On the left is this picture of a guy weighing some 400 lbs. Then on the right we see him wearing the same pair trousers he wore in his former picture, but having shed some 250 lbs.

Or the “Before and After” facial pictures of this still-gorgeous woman in her mid-60’s who after having applied this wrinkle-removing cream now looks younger than her daughter. (It didn’t do a thing for me, so I shaved off my mustache instead. Now I don’t look day over 75. Hmm – very disappointing since I’m only 66.)

I invite you to attend our outdoor (8:30am), or indoor (11:00am), or Livestream (also 11:00am) service this coming Sunday morning to “see” the two “photos” the Apostle Paul posted of a converted man, two pictures that reveal an even greater change than what we see in Mr. Baggy Pants or Ms. Saggy Skin.
