As we unwrap all our gifts this Christmas morn,
let’s ensure we pause to reflect back
on all the gifts God has given to us in and through His Son.
I share but a sampling of His manifold gifts:
“The 12 Spiritual Days of Christmas”
On the first day of Christmas our Savior gave to us,
an undeserved pardon from all our sins.
On the second day of Christmas our Savior gave to us,
a brand new start and heart on life.
On the third day of Christmas our Savior gave to us,
a permanent resident, His Holy Spirit, to live within.
On the fourth day of Christmas our Savior gave to us,
all the fruits of His Holy Spirit.
On the fifth day of Christmas our Savior gave to us,
a new family called the Church.
On the sixth day of Christmas our Savior gave to us,
a conviction that we must daily live by faith.
On the seventh day of Christmas our Savior gave to us,
a hunger to study and obey His Holy Word.
On the eighth day of Christmas our Savior gave to us,
a heart that seeks to serve Him through others.
On the ninth day of Christmas our Savior gave to us,
a spiritual gift/s to bless and build His Church,
On the tenth day of Christmas our Savior gave to us,
a passion to lead the lost to the Cross.
On the eleventh day of Christmas our Savior gave to us,
an eternal home in Heaven with Him and each other.
On the twelfth day of Christmas our Savior gave to us,
a share in His inheritance and eternal rule.
