When was the very first Halloween celebrated? Now I’m sure this will surprise you! The very 1st Halloween was celebrated that 1st Christmas. “Really?” “Actually no, but I could sure make an arguable case for such on philosophical grounds.”

“Huh? Now I’m really lost.”

Well what’s Christmas really all about, when you strip away all the cultural add-ons of the past few centuries? Jesus donning a costume; but for a wholly different reason than to fill some fantasy bag with things that spoil us even more than we already are. He dressed up in order to fill Heaven with forgiven sinners – us, if we wish. His advent to earth really was for a “holy”different reason.

Why not check us out this Sunday to hear more about history’s greatest miracle, the Infinite Spirit God of the Universe halloweening Himself into our finite and physical costume during our sermon entitled, “Jesus, The Incarnate Son.”
