There may be no clearer Biblical statement of this belief than what the Apostle Paul penned to the church in Ephesus: &#8220;By grace you have been saved through faith.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>But perhaps the church hasn&#8217;t been as clear regarding how one lives after he&#8217;s passed through the door. He must continue to exercise the very same faith that got him in, or he&#8217;ll find the Christian life nothing like what it&#8217;s cracked up to be.<\/p>\n<p>Just last week, we began a sermon series that will take us through the summer months, a series entitled, &#8220;God&#8217;s Early Hall of Faith&#8221;. This week we will begin at the beginning with the 2nd man ever born, the shepherd named Abel.
