Consequently, Sharia Law is now fast becoming the law of the land. Now most of us have heard of the possible infringements on women\u2019s rights, but we may not be near as aware of the trimming of barber\u2019s rights. (Pun intended.) The Taliban shuttered the entire barbershop business in Helmand, one of the country\u2019s southern provinces. News reports tell us that the Taliban banned \u2013 fitting name for Tali-<u>ban<\/u>\u00a0\u2013 the shaving or even trimming of one\u2019s beard.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv0157075628ydp3b7eb1feMsoNormal\"><strong>When we learn of circumstances like this one, we\u2019re prone to mull over the question,\u00a0<i>\u201cHow much control should any government have over its people?\u201d\u00a0<\/i>Of course, we\u2019re wrestling over this very matter here in America with respect to Covid vax mandates. (No, I\u2019m not going there.)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"yiv0157075628ydp3b7eb1feMsoNormal\"><strong>Have I piqued your interest?
