My home had broken apart and I was out of the ministry I so loved. My life had become intolerable.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I struggled every day just to crawl out of bed because I had to go to work. Like everybody else, I still had bills to pay. Sundays proved even harder because that meant going to the very place where my emotional pain was greatest. Like a dagger being plunged into my heart, I had to sit in some less-than-familiar sanctuary and attempt to worship, knowing I could no longer do what I most loved to do.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/faithfamilyfellowship.church\/?attachment_id=6129\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6129\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-6129\" src=\"https:\/\/faithfamilyfellowship.church\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/angel-2273066_1280-300x220.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"220\" srcset=\"https:\/\/faithfamilyfellowship.church\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/angel-2273066_1280-300x220.jpg 300w, https:\/\/faithfamilyfellowship.church\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/angel-2273066_1280-1024x750.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/faithfamilyfellowship.church\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/angel-2273066_1280-768x563.jpg 768w, https:\/\/faithfamilyfellowship.church\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/angel-2273066_1280.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>By God\u2019s Grace, I never missed a day of work or a Sunday in corporate worship. But you know what I did miss? praying passionately, believingly, and even coherently as I was an emotional basket case. The one prayer I prayed consistently was but five terse words, \u201cFather, please take me home.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Obviously, God chose not to answer that prayer \u2013 at least not according to my will.
