\"one<\/a><\/span>When I was\u00a0growing up<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0my dad would introduce me<\/span>\u00a0to others, he’d often say,\u00a0“My son is one in a million. With those odds, how’d I \u00a0ever get stuck with him?”\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/h3>\n

We all knew\u00a0he was jesting<\/span>\u00a0– I think\/hope. No, I’m quite sure he was yanking my proverbial chain as he\u00a0validated his true feelings<\/span>\u00a0of\u00a0love and pride<\/span>\u00a0for me in a myriad of ways.<\/span>\u00a0But if we\u00a0processed<\/span>\u00a0this statement, we’d soon realize that very\u00a0few people are truly 1 in a million<\/span>.\u00a0Most everyone blends<\/span>\u00a0in with the rest of humanity, such that\u00a0typically, nothing sticks out to<\/span>\u00a0 signal this person\u00a0as truly unique<\/span>. But who wouldn’t want to be numbered as that 1 in a million?<\/span><\/p>\n
