We\u2019ve all heard the expression, \u201cHe\u2019s so Heavenly-minded that he\u2019s no earthly good;\u201d<\/em> or \u201cshe.\u201d<\/em> I beg to differ. I believe the reality is quite the opposite. You see, if the Bible is truly God\u2019s Self-revelation to us, then it\u2019s exceedingly more accurate to say, \u201cHe\u2019s so Heavenly-minded that he\u2019s so earthly good;\u201d<\/em> or \u201cshe.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

I wish to protract this premise in order to introduce the subject of this coming Sunday\u2019s sermon by making this claim: \u201cWhen we\u2019re so Heavenly-minded, we\u2019re laying down a deposit of eternal reward.\u201d<\/em> How did Jesus put it when He visited our sphere? \u201cStore your treasures in Heaven.\u201d<\/em> In other words, when we do good here and now, God will bless us accordingly there and then. The Bible declares elsewhere: \u201cWhatever a man sows, this he will also reap.\u201d<\/em> When we do good, we produce good. When we do bad \u2026 You get it.<\/p>\n

Why not come out this Sunday as we begin a three-part sermon answering this question of profound import, \u201cWhat\u2019s in Store for You?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
