How so? Because He\u2019s issued some pretty repressive commands that rob us of enjoying some real fun in life. We can\u2019t get drunk or high. We can\u2019t stuff our palates in gluttony. We can\u2019t live off the hard work of others so we can be fancy-free. We can\u2019t sow our wild oats. <em>\u201cMan, who wants to follow a god like that??!!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The numbers who don\u2019t are staggering! There are way, way too many spiritual anarchists who choose to go with their own hedonistic flow and take God off the stove entirely; forget about the back-burner.<\/p>\n<p>I remember this one occasion back in college when a few of my unbelieving friends, another guy and two girls, got frustrated with me. They wanted to do something that didn\u2019t align with my Christian principles; so I politely declined. The guy commented, <em>\u201cDon\u2019t you ever have any fun?\u201d<\/em> I countered with, <em>\u201cI guess it all depends on what you consider fun.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/faithfamilyfellowship.church\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/apple-91137_1280.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4594 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/faithfamilyfellowship.church\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/apple-91137_1280-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/faithfamilyfellowship.church\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/apple-91137_1280-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/faithfamilyfellowship.church\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/apple-91137_1280-768x1152.jpg 768w, https:\/\/faithfamilyfellowship.church\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/apple-91137_1280-682x1024.jpg 682w, https:\/\/faithfamilyfellowship.church\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/apple-91137_1280.jpg 853w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Why not come out this Sunday morning to hear a message I\u2019ve entitled, <em><strong>\u201cSin Gone Wild\u201d<\/strong> <\/em>(Part 1) and be reminded just how far man\u2019s fun ride has taken him; to which I would then ask, <em>\u201cIs he having fun yet?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>God has gotten a bad rap because He\u2019s routinely being accused of being a killjoy.
