500 years ago, an earthquake rocked all of Germany. It changed its landscape forever! Fact is, its aftershocks are still being felt today – and all around the world! I’m not talking about a physical earthquake; I’m talking about a spiritual one.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Who would\u2019ve ever guessed a hammer and nail would change everything? But then again, these same two companion tools did the very same thing 1500 years earlier; but on that occasion, causing an even greater earthquake. A Roman guard had picked up his hammer and nail and stapled Jesus Christ to an otherwise inconspicuous cross.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Fast forward now to the year 1517; we meet an obscure Augustinian monk by the now-familiar name, Dr. Martin Luther, Professor of Biblical Studies at the University of Wittenberg. He had grown increasingly frustrated over his church’s spiritual practices, which inspired him, according to tradition, to nail his now-famous 95 complaints – later dubbed,\u00a0“95 Theses”<\/i>\u00a0– onto the All Saints’ Church front door of the university campus.<\/div>\n

Dr. Luther’s defiant stand against his Roman Catholic Church proved to be the foreshock that soon erupted into the seismic earthquake that became the Protestant Reformation!<\/div>\n
