As many of you know, the teens will be beginning their 30-hour\u00a0<\/b>fast for world hunger<\/b> on Sunday afternoon. They will be doing this as a way to “taste” what one-third of the world’s population lives with day in and day out. They are also raising funds for food goods to send to countries in Africa through World Vision. If you wish to be a part of this effort, you can donate at church through Sunday 2\/26 or donate now online.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

World Vision\u2019s 30 Hour Famine gives students a chance to help overcome hunger \u2014 by going without food so others don\u2019t have to. It\u2019s an unforgettable experience that will rock their world and make an incredible difference around the globe! Youth groups like Faith Family Fellowship’s AWAKE \u00a0sign up for Famine date. Then the students learn about hunger<\/a> and fundraise<\/a> to help feed and care for children living in poverty. On Famine weekend, students get up close and personal with hunger by going 30 hours without food<\/a>. World Vision provides loads of activities to help make this a totally fun, educational, and life-changing experience. After the Famine, the funds raise go to World Vision to change lives!<\/p>\n
