I love the Philadelphia Eagles. And yes, I love my 7-yr. old, self-absorbed and thoroughly pathetic, 6 lb. Teacup Chihuahua, Jabez. I love &#8217;em all. But do I love them to the same degree? Of course not. Of these three, chocolate cake runs away with the top prize. And why? Because it never loses or whines. \ud83d\ude42<\/div>\n<div id=\"yiv4117290426yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473766693913_118452\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"yiv4117290426yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473766693913_118453\">Jesus said the greatest commandment of them all is to,<i id=\"yiv4117290426yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473766693913_118454\"> &#8220;Love the Lord your God with your whole heart, soul, mind and strength.&#8221;<\/i> Now this doesn&#8217;t mean that we don&#8217;t love other persons or things; it simply means we love them less and God more, to adore Him before anything and everything else.<\/div>\n<div id=\"yiv4117290426yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473766693913_118453\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"yiv4117290426yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473766693913_118453\">But here&#8217;s my quandary: <i id=\"yiv4117290426yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473766693913_118457\">&#8220;How do we know when we&#8217;re loving God more and everything else less? What are the telltale signs that He sits atop the leader board of our love?&#8221;<\/i><\/div>\n<div id=\"yiv4117290426yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473766693913_118453\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"yiv4117290426yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473766693913_118453\"><span id=\"yiv4117290426yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473766693913_118460\">Last week we began a new sermon series on the <i id=\"yiv4117290426yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473766693913_118461\">&#8220;Parables of Jesus&#8221;<\/i>, those <i id=\"yiv4117290426yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473766693913_118462\">&#8220;ordinary stories about ordinary people doing ordinary things in order teach a particular extraordinary spiritual Truth.&#8221; <\/i><\/span><span id=\"yiv4117290426yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473766693913_118463\">Why not come this Sunday morning to learn more about how we can recognize if God is truly the chocolate cake of our hearts as we probe <i id=\"yiv4117290426yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1473766693913_118464\">&#8220;The Parable of the two debtors<\/i>?&#8221;<\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I love chocolate cake.
